After taking a walk around the shops at Spitalfields, it was time for lunch. Even at shortly after noon, Canteen was already doing roaring business.
Beef, mushroom & stout pie with mash, greens & gravy (£9.50)
Duck, roast potatoes, greens, brocolli and apple sauce (£13.00).
Black currant jelly with ice cream and shortbread (£5.00).

Welcome back! I've missed your blog for sure! Now I can get back to reading it and trying different places!
If your wallet can handle it, I would highly highly recommend Michael Mina (SF) and Redd (Napa), since these aren't cheap but the food is really good!
Where will you be in Korea? The food there is just soooo good and pretty cheap . . . I miss it!
