Top Grinds   

For those of you that are fans of Bravo TV's Top Chef, here's a link to a write up in today's local paper, the Honolulu Advertiser.  The two-part season finale was filmed during the November/December timeframe at the Big Island's Hilton Waikoloa Village and will feature the top two cooking for guest judges Michelle Bernstein (Michy's, Miami, FL), Wylie Dufresne (wd-50, New York, NY), Scott Conant (L'Impero and Alto, New York, NY), Hubert Keller (Fleur de Lys, San Francisco, CA) and Roy Yamaguchi (Roy's Restaurant, locations worldwide).

On Sunday, there was a write up in our other local daily, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.  Given the attention that both Marcel and Ilan are given in the article, I'm curious to know if those two are facing off in the finale next Wednesday.

Good luck to all the Top Chef contestants -- Marcel, Sam, Elan and Elia!

    Most of the newer photos on this site are being taken by this camera. I'm still learning how to use it, but I think the photos it takes are amazing. Though the lens I use often varies, many of the photos on this site are taken with a Canon EF 35mm f2.0 lens.
