IMBB27 + SHF20: The Roundup
So here goes my first attempt -- second if you count Virtual Vacation which was held earlier this year and co-hosted with Alan at ma'ona -- at hosting a World Wide Blogging event. Thanks to those of you who participated. There were just a shade under 20 entries and I don't know if it is because this event wasn't heavily publicized, if people don't actually make their way to my blog, or if the theme wasn't to anyone's real liking. On with the show, shall we?
Entries are listed according to the date/time they were received:

Update: 6/28 I am really sorry that the roundup has not continued as planned and to those of you who had posted links on my reminder post and have sent me e-mails with your links, I have received your entries. Thank you so much for taking the time to participate.
That said, I am feeling under the weather right now so I have not really been online to complete the round up. Please accept my apologies. I will do everything possible to get the round up completed by Friday, 6/30. Thank you all for being patient.
Update: 7/01 I am feeling much better today after sleeping through most of the last 2 days. I finally have enough strength to sit here at the computer and to continue the roundup. Again, thank you to all that participated. Now, for a few more entries.

Hi Reid, I hope you are feeling better now - I really wanted to participate this event, but alas couldn't get hold of any soy beans (wanted to make something with fresh beans). Nonetheless, I'm going to enjoy all the lovely, inspirational posts, thank you for choosing the great theme.

I'm a vegetarian (for the most part) and I LOVE soy! Some breakfast cereal and a cold glass of soy milk makes my day. And buddhist vegetarian restaurants are always great (legends seafood restaurant used to have some great vegetarian char siu). Anyway, after reading your blog, It's so great to see people using soy in inventive ways -- it's been disheartening how restaurants have turned soy into something that's often painful to consume. As a vegetarian, I don't think I should have to sacrifice bold flavors. So thanks for rekindling that quest for great dishes using soy!

I've been visiting your blog for a while and I really enjoy it!! I'm glad that IMBB covered soy... it's about time! Please visit my site if you ever have the time!

Aloha, I'm looking for the soy milk that made from organic soy bean. I don't know what brand it is, I used to buy it from 99 ranch market. I remember it seems has a maple leaf on the bottle and it is made from local. Please email me if someone knows where to buy it. (I only can drink some special formula soy milk since I was a baby.) Thanks a lot. My email address is [email protected]
