Nice..! very nice..!!

Hey Reid - What's da' song "Aloha Friday, No work till Monday...."

Oh wow Reid, what a spectacular photo! That reminds me of a sunset I once saw in Spain, we were driving north towards El Arenal. That was about 33 years ago and still I remember it like yesterday...

Reminds me of the good old days when we used to go Waikiki around dusk and fire up the hibachi to barbecue teriyaki meat sticks. A few musubis with red ume and a bottle of takuan conjures up some good memories. Nothing fancy...just pure comfort food...(sigh!)

I love this idea Reid! I'm not sure when or if I'll ever make it to Hawaii, but I can enjoy it from a distance through your photos. This first one is really beautiful.

Nice shot, Reid. I don't think you can beat a Hawaiian sunset.

Lajja of the many beautiful reasons why we moved to Hawaii! Looking forward to more of your photo-licious snaps, Reid!

Great photo Reid! I really like it.

You are not a photographer?!? Of course you are Reid! I think you've racked up as many photos as any "professional" has.

Proven, of course, by this great pic. So well framed! Looking forward to seeing more!

Hi MrsT,

Thank you! I was at the right place at the right time, I guess! =)

Hi Kirk,

Here you go:

"It's Aloha Friday, no work till Monday.
Doo be doo, doo doo be, doo be doo be doo be doo!"

Unfortunately, not true. I have lots of work to do this weekend. *sigh*

Hi Jo,

Thank you! I'm hoping to expose all of the people out there in the world to Hawaii's beauty.

Hi Clinton,

Haven't had one of those in a loooooong time! Thanks for the reminder. =)

Hi Cathy,

Thank you very much! I also loved those photos you took of Sicily. I hope you continue to enjoy our fair state. =)

Hi Nic,

Thank you! You might be right about that.

Hi Lajja,

Well, I'm really glad you like it here. Hopefully, I can post more great photos.

Hi Clare,

Thank you. Hope it makes you want to visit! =)

Hi AG,

Thank you so much for the compliment. I don't think I'm as good as any pro, but I do OK every now and then.

You keep coming up with the goods (photos) and getting the boy to agree will be much easier ;)

Hi Clare,

Maybe this Friday's picture will convince the boy. Does he like the beach?

Hi Makan Kings,

Thanks for the compliment.

I have stopped by your blog, but haven't had a chance to leave you a comment just yet.

You're doing a very good job as well!

Hi Obachan,

Most of the newer photos on this site are being taken by this camera. I'm still learning how to use it, but I think the photos it takes are amazing. Though the lens I use often varies, many of the photos on this site are taken with a Canon EF 35mm f2.0 lens.

A majority of the photos on this site were shot using this little camera. It was compact and discreet -- excellent for taking photos under most conditions. Sadly, it has recently died.
