More from Fujimamas
Ask and you shall receive. That's all I have to say.
After having received the announcement for the opening of Fujimamas in Kailua-Kona, I asked Lauren if she wouldn't mind sending me some photos of the food -- which sounds delicious, by the way. If the tantilizing photos of the dishes are anything to go by, I need to start making my plans to visit either Japan or Kailua-Kona soon!
I don't know what these dishes are, but I'm hoping that Lauren can clue me in.
Thanks Lauren for making me hungry!

Great variety and presentation. I thought it was going to be a Japanese version of Wagamamas which I have actually refrained from going to as the menu looks a bit common. However, if a Fujimamas opens in Sydney I will definitely try it.

Wow, those photos look delicious! I've never heard of Fujimamas, so thanks for filling me in Reid and Lauren! This looks like reason enough to endure the 2hr drive over to Kona. :)

Hi Obachan,
Everything does look good, doesn't it. The dessert was the first thing I looked at! =)
Hi Rachel,
I like the variety of dishes that they serve too. If you haven't already, you should check out the website. Some of it seems quite interesting.
Hi Milgwimper,
I was hungry too after looking at the photos. I just wish that this places wasn't on another island.
Hi James,
If you do have a chance to visit Fujimamas, I'd be interested to know what you think. I'd like to gain some perspective...from the local point of view!

A co-worker is planning to be in Kona and I wanted to suggest a restaurant and came upon this blog.
I have to say those photos Lauren took are simply amazing. Good lighting and camera work. The color is just so real, like it was professional setup, is it?
Back to the recommendation, I did past on this link to her.

John,
Thanks for commenting.
I believe Lauren was with the Fujimama's in Tokyo. I'm thinking that these were photos from a professional shoot. I didn't ask.
